DEMONSTRATE LOVE & ACCEPTANCE TO THE NEXT GENERATION
Nothing is ever created in a vacuum or on its own. There is an origination point for everything that exists, except for the creation in the Bible that God created.
We realize at Global Messenger Service that we are enjoying the fruit of the labors of men and women who have blazed a trail before us across the globe. While we have gone to some remote areas and often we are told we are the first westerners to come to them, we understand that seeds have been planted some way long before our arrival.
The scriptures bear this out as they state, “One plants, one waters, but it is God who gives the increase.” Many mighty men and women have gone before us and planted and we get to be the ones who waters and watches the increasing harvest come.
This is why we feel there is a mandate on us to pass the torch on to the next generation of those who will come behind us. There will be a day when they will write about us being the ones who planted, they watered, and they saw the harvest. It would be foolish for us to think that we will see the harvest of every seed we plant.
Down through the years we have done many things such as Children’s Workers Conferences, Distributed Books for Children, Organized Youth concerts, vacation Bible schools, and a host of other events targeting the next generation.
Global Messenger Service cannot be a one-generation ministry!
Not only are we “Demonstrating”, love and acceptance to the next generation as a part of our responsibilities, but we are preparing this ministry to be passed on to others that will carry it further than we have ever been able to do. This mission’s organization is not about us, but about the kingdom. There is a master plan much larger than ours is and it includes the continuance of the Gospel until all have heard. We are a piece to this giant puzzle of Hope, and we want to be found faithful in our portion of the relay race!
