Steve and Carolyn are eager learners and were quick to understand the Indian culture and to relate with the people of that great nation. Land in Chennai, India costs more per square foot than in New York City! It can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for a piece of land that is not even big enough for a church to seat one hundred people.

Steve and Carolyn developed a plan and then began a model church plant using houses for people to meet in. Within a few months that model church became more than twice the size of the average church in India. Now they have mentored thousands of leaders and have made it "normal" for people to meet in homes and for the church to be immersed in remote villages, towns and cities all over India.
